India@75 collaborated with committed leaders from Industry and civil society, designed a program named, ‘Digital Volunteers’, leveraging volunteers to ensure 100% functional literacy (digital & financial) across every nook and corner of the country. The program is built on the existing Functional Literacy Programme (FLiP) & National Volunteering Grid of India@75. The program primarily centers on enrolling ‘Digital Volunteers’; providing access to our 90 hours of digital content in Hindi and training them to take it to every doorstep in the country.
This is a 90 minute, four-module courseware which can be downloaded by the volunteer and run on a basic PC. Each module is devoted to a different theme: Basic Literacy, Digital Literacy, Financial Literacy and Covid-19 Literacy. There is a module for the instructor as well to help them become better teachers.
