Many children living in Trichy slums drop out of school before completing their education. The coaching class project of New Life supports 50 at risk students in grades 4-12 by conducting tuitions after school hours. The classes give students the individual attention they lack at school. Trained teachers help students improve in subjects that are difficult for them. The students who are from difficult circumstances are also counselled to help them cope with emotional/psychological stress.
