‘Madurai Health and Leprosy Relief Centre (MAHELERECEN)’ is a Non-Governmental and Non – Profitable Registered Organization, doing voluntary health Promotion and Preventive services of General Health Education, Leprosy Awareness classes, Case detection, Treatment and Rehabilitation services for leprosy disabled, among the slum & rural population of Madurai District since 1991. "This project has been very inspiring to work on. Our dedicated team of members did extensive research and made sure to cover all hiccups volunteer face while coordinating and facilitating patient's treatment. I believe it is a great initiative from BluPi and other corporates to pick up ProBono projects and deliver them with such enthusiasm and zeal. Introduction: Celebrating the virtue of selfless service and sharing a common aspiration among Indians towards inclusively developed India, through credible volunteering opportunities. CII had invited Excelize to be a part of this activity. Once this was discussed with the directors of the company it was decided that we take part with multiple activities so as to accommodate most of the employees into it. The management also allocated a budget for the activity and various help groups were formed. The budget was utilized to buying food items, beds and necessary equipments for all the organizations that we visited. To raise additional funds to generate social responsibility and ownership a donation camp was organized and appeal was given to all the employees. An additional fund was generated through this.
