Geeta Devi, aged 32, did not know anything about digital gadgets. Earlier she was semi-literate, but did not write properly. Now she knows every Hindi alphabet and numbers, and is passing on her knowledge to her two little children. She is trying to also teach them tables. Also, earlier when she used to visit the bank with her husband, she used to be a mute spectator. She did not know numbers, could not count. Now she can count and does not have to depend on her husband to deposit or withdraw cash. She can now keep a track of her own savings. She has also learnt to use ATM card to withdraw cash. She says that due to the program she is now able to understand the need of a smartphone and has now bought a new phone. She uses her mobile to help her children study online using the WhatsAPP and Zoom application.
