There are 3.5 Mn. “Not for Profit” organizations in India. Most of them do not have a ‘digital presence’. Through this program we covered 75 NFPs, empowering them with a digital presence. One of them, a very unique project in the Himalayas is mentioned below: The Rinchen Zangpo Society for Spiti Development- Operating since 1993, The Rinchen Zangpo Society for Spiti Development provides a combination of modern and traditional education to young people from Spiti and other underdeveloped tribal areas in the Indian Himalaya. It now has more than 850 young people of all ages, kindergarten to college-goers.

2. Matoshree Home for the aged, Nakshatra wadi Paithan road Aurangabad: This is a home for the aged for all those parents who do not have a shelter at this age of their life. This home is giving shelter to 160 old men and women from all around Maharashtra. Excelize CSR team members contacted Mr. Sagar Pohare to get an idea of their requirements. We were given a list of their daily food supply items which included wheat, dal, oil, ground nuts and sugar. A team of 7 persons made arrangement to get the best quality lowest price for the said items from local vendors and supplied the material to this old age home. It was almost lunch time when we reached the location…..so some of our team members took the privilege to serve the inmates.
